“Wow, where do I even begin! I’m so glad I was able to make it to the conference! I came home feeling like I have so much work to do, in a good way. I feel like I have so many new tools on how to improve my training and just myself in general. It’s an exciting feeling. I think it’s exactly what I needed.
I have been feeling so rundown over the past couple months. To the point where not even my training was a rush for me, which is usually my best escape from life’s chaos. Now I can’t wait to get back into the gym and get to work! I have so many new techniques to apply. I can’t even believe how beneficial the upper body session was for me. I knew I probably wasn’t doing things perfect, but I seriously had no idea I was doing everything SO WRONG. Completely wrong! It’s kind of frustrating to think about, but actually I’m almost relieved. I feel like I see all these people’s transformation photos that are months apart or a year apart and I’m always so amazed.
I go back and look at my pictures from 2-3 years ago and I look more lean, but not much muscle growth. I do feel like lifting has changed my body in a way that running never did, but now I’m getting how all of these people have some of these incredible transformations. I want to be one of them one of these day :) I’m going to keep moving forward and hopefully once I get down all of these new techniques I have learned, we can take me back into a building phase.”
As you can see from the picture collage, the training sessions were very ‘hands on’. I know most attendees walked away with new cues and techniques to apply when training.
