Paused Hip Thrusters

I. LOVE. BOOTY WORK. I also like to do my Hip Thrusters a little different so I get more out of them – watch ?

1. Check your ego at the door. (You do not need a lot of weight if you’re abiding by a nice, slow tempo and a pause for a few seconds in the contracted position). I can do 300lbs on these OR scale the weight back like this and do paused contractions (and save time loading/unloading plates lol aka:lazy)

2. Drive through the heel. I keep my toes up.

3. If you’re a glutton for punishment like I am, and you want to advance the movement, hold for 2-4 REAL seconds at the top.
