Do you believe in Magic diets, pills etc?

I get tired of hearing it. On my very short ride into preschool, I very often hear these ads on the radio for a quick weight loss centers or systems. Every time I hear them, I want to throw something at my car radio and scream!

It’s very easy to get caught up in the fast ‘results’ but really, a program that touts quick weight loss, losing something like 12lbs in a week!
Reality people!! That is not fat loss! You losing a bunch of water!
Then what? Drink magical shakes, eat magically meals, eliminate food groups.
GREAT! NOT!

There are NO special secret, drink, pill or diet that can replace a safe, sustainable diet. Results will likely be a little slower that all the who-ha of these ‘special diets’ we are used to hearing about. That’s fine, your body and your health will thank you for it and in the long run, the results you get from it is going to be sustainable and maintainable and safe!

Be smart about the program you choose to go about following for your fat loss. The real magic is that there isn’t anything magical about follow a nutrient dense plan and eating real food with adequate calories. Have some patience add in some time, consistency and dedication to it. That has proven time and again to work.
