A follower of our page asked to see what a day of food might look like for a client (or coach).

From follower Julie: “Do you ever post your meals for a whole day? Everyone talks about all the food and carbs they get to eat. Just curious what everyone’s idea is of a lot of food.”

Here is a photo of all my meals from yesterday. Keep in mind that the amount of food one eats is relative to their goal, body weight, etc.

A typical day of meals for me looks like this:

M1 – whole eggs, cheese, and coffee.

M2 – my meal calls for chicken and avocado, however I almost always sub out my chicken and avocado for Trutein and peanut butter, and blend with ice and my remaining morning coffee for a frozen protein shake.

M3 – stir-fry chicken and vegetables with smashed potatoes.

M4 – barbecue chicken sandwich (Walden Farms barbecue sauce) on a Rudy’s gluten-free bun, with a cup of fibrous vegetables on the side.

M5 – post-workout blended protein shake with a whipped cream rice krispie treat sandwich (gf rice krispie treats, found at Publix).

M6 – blackened scallops with white rice, a small side salad, and a serving of banana. Yes, carbs before bed!

This is a great example of how diets and meal plans don’t have to be restrictive or boring. And yes, we eat a lot of food! No starvation diets here.
