Focus on the behaviors that you can control and the results will follow

It always perplexes me when I see people posting that they’re starting an 8/10/12 week weight loss plan.

All I can think is:

“How do you know your body is going to get as lean as you’d like it to get within the span of a specified number of weeks. And if you’re not as lean as you’d expected, are you just going to stop based on some arbitrary timeline?”

The reality is that we can only control our behaviors, but we cannot choose or predict how our body will respond to those behaviors.

Simply focus on executing those behaviors and your body will be lean when it is good and ready to get there (usually a lot slower that you’d have hoped).

PS: Great physiques are built over months and years not days and weeks. Don’t be mislead by marketing. If you can get there in 12 weeks, you can lose it just as quickly.
