Client Amy looking lean and mean and loving her food!
Amy has been with us for a while now and is in a leaning phase. She’s lost a significant amount of weight and we just started adding in some refeeds as we approach the final stretch of her cut. This is Amy’s first experience with this type of refeed protocol, and it seems she enjoyed herself! Close to 300g carbohydrates for Ms. Amy on her refeed day. Here’s what she had to say:
“Omg, you guys, ok, here it is! So it’s safe to say that today was one of the best days of my life! Haha! Honestly, though, I ate without one shred of guilt and felt comfortably full after every meal instead of being hungry all damn day.
My day: egg white omelet with ham and fat-free mozzarella, reduced-fat cinnamon roll, 2 low fat waffles, and bananas. A s’more and protein pudding with powdered peanut butter and a cookie, a mini-bagel sandwich – spin on an Italian sub with ham, turkey, turkey pepperoni, ff mozzarella, ff Italian dressing, pretzel thins, and salad. Soft pretzel with low fat Velveeta cheese, pizza pasta with ground turkey and turke ypepperoni, salad, and a piece of garlic toast. And finally, a vanilla protein pudding with ff cheesecake pudding mix topped with low sugar cherry pie filling and served with a graham cracker. I think it’s safe to say that My Food Doesn’t Suck!”
Amy will be checking in with me in about a week to see how she responded to the refeed and I’m excited to see her results! Hopefully we will be able to continue our implementation of refeeds as she continues to lean out before bringing her up to a metabolic restoration phase.
