So I'm just going through the pictures on my camera, and realized I only took pictures on Friday night. :( Anyway, here are a few of them. We had a great weekend. Amy and Noel Lyn and Ileen Cindy and Elizabeth Laura had waited very patiently and was VERY excited when her food finally came. Noel's rapidly disappearing steak ... ... and cheesecake Amy's hair. Every time I went to take a picture, she'd hide behind her hair. Kevin and I had the same idea at the same time. And a shot of myself and Noel to finish off ... with Scott looking over his shoulder at what I bet was a basketball game. Lotsa fun. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. read more 7 comments
And yet another training day coming up - heavy shoulder work and light biceps/triceps work. Yesterday was heavy hamstring work and light back work. It looked liked this: Lying Leg Curls - 4 sets Seated Leg Curls - 3 sets Romanian Deadlifts - 3 sets Close-grip Pulldowns - 3 sets One-arm Dumbbell Rows - 3 sets Straight-arm Pulldowns - 2 sets Hammer Strength Rows - 2 sets *I cut out one movement today. In the past, I'd start getting too antsy about getting too light; not because I... read more 4 comments
Well, I've been a little slack on the blogging again. It's been a busy couple weeks with playing catch up with work, lots of contest prep work, getting another article done for a print mag, etc. But, I've got some exciting news. I'm going to be a dad! Yeah, crazy. It's still not really settling in, but we're excited. It was great telling my parents. They were really excited and with the health battles my dad has been facing, it is a nice positive thing for my family to look forward to. Cheers! read more 5 comments

We went to a different resort this time, about 90 minutes from Cancun and it was awesome, and absolutely huge! It was a 5-hotel complex and we were staying at The Palace. It ended up being a great week - lots of food (too much as evidenced by the nice rebound I experienced), lots of sun and lots of naps. That's about as good as a vacation gets for me. I'm really not much of a site seer or a tourist. The Mayan Riviera has... read more 2 comments
