Just a quick hit today to congratulate IFBB Fitness Pro Allison Ethier on her 5th place finish at this weekend's Europa Super Show in Texas. She missed out on a Top 4 by 4 points.

A really solid season for Allison with multiple strong placings this year.

So after five days of unburying myself from work and trying to catch up (still not quite caught up either), I finally have some time to put up a recap of my recent weekend in Hartford, CT at the Europa.

The trip started early Thursday morning, and by early I mean about 5:30am. Why so early? Well, I chose to drive to Hartford instead of flying and it was an estimated 8 hour drive so I wanted to get a good jump on it. I have some unfortunate recent news to report. The Pro Figure competitor who has been authoring the Undercover Pro blog has sustained a season-ending injury - a calf tear.

For those that have been following her blog, the blog was focused on highlighting her prep and progress as she prepared for her IFBB Pro debut. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned calf tear, that is going to have to be postponed until 2011.

Go figure eh?
