P. J. got bit by the fitness bug at age 10 when he got a Hulk Hogan dumbbell set and weightlifting belt for Christmas and never looked backed. From that point forward, he immersed himself in fitness.
P. J. holds a BS in Health & Sports Studies (emphasis in exercise science) from Miami University and is certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT). He is also the 17-year owner of Live Fit Cincinnati LLC, a boutique semi-private personal training business located in Cincinnati, OH.
In addition to his expertise as a “hands on” trainer, he is also a talented and accomplished writer and educator in the fitness industry. He has been featured by and written for numerous publications including Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, LiveStrong.com, Women’s Health, Shape, & Vanity Fair. He also was a contributing author to the New York Times bestselling books The Women’s Health Big Book of Abs and The Women’s Health Big Book of 15-Min Workouts, and is the sole author of The 60-Second Sweat.
P. J. is passionate about the online coaching/distance training model for delivering superior results to the client. He looks forward to applying all the knowledge he’s acquired through 17 years “in the trenches” to Lean Bodies Consulting, helping LBC clients reach their fitness, fat loss, and performance goals in the safest, sanest, and most effective manner possible.
