Megan’s passion for fitness stems from her early background in athletics. Since childhood, she was always been heavily involved in competitive sports. In college, Megan played fast-pitch softball for Kansas State University. Shortly after her college softball career ended, she began to experiment with weight training and soon found it to be a new passion of hers. During this time, while working in hospitals and studying to be a nurse, Megan witnessed first hand what the potential side effects that long-term poor nutritional choices, combined with a lack of exercise, can play on the human body. Through this experience, Megan discovered her true calling was helping individuals learn how to find balance in life through nutrition and exercise. She went on to become a certified personal trainer, as well as a national-level figure athlete, and still actively competes today.
