Apple Cider Protein Shake
I spent the weekend picking, cleaning, quartering, crushing and pressing apples to make cider. So I think it’s fitting that I share one my favourite recipes, which is an apple cider protein shake. All you have to do is mix up the below.
40g Trutein (vanilla)
120g Greek Yogurt (plain)
1 cup apple cider
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
This shake provides about 350 k/cal with 41g of protein, 44g of carbs and 1g of fat. Obviously, you can play around with the amounts to better suit your meal plan, but it’s worth it! So delicious! And best of all, it tastes great cold or hot.
